A new comic book, funded by the Trust, has been released by Govanhill Baths.
It is a people’s history of occupations, featuring industrial, community, student and environmental occupations in Scotland from the 1940s till now: Squatting (1946); Upper Clyde Shipbuilders (1971); Lee Jeans (1981); Lovable Bra (1982); Plessey Capacitors (1982), Faslane (1982-ongoing); Timex (1983); Price Waterhouse (1984); Stirling Park Sheriff Offices (1990); Caterpillar (1987); Pollok Free State (1994-1996); Netherton Primary (1996); Kinning Park Complex (1996); Govanhill Baths (2001); Free Hetherington (2011); Still Game For The Valley; Baile Hoose (2021).
